Our Method

Principal Relocation Company uses the Communicative Method in its language courses. This approach to the teaching of second and foreign languages puts an emphasis on interaction as both the means and the ultimate goal of learning a language. The Communicative Method also places great emphasis on assisting students use the target language in a range of contexts and places great importance on learning language functions. Classroom activities used in the Communicative Method include but are limited to the following: Role Play, Games, Interviews, Working in Pairs, Learning by Teaching and Surveys. However, not all courses that use the Communicative Method will limit their activities only to these. Some courses will have the students do occasional grammar exercises, or prepare at activities at home using non-communicative methods, for example. The focus of the Communicative Method is to put the student at the center of attention and to have them use the language as soon as possible and as fluently as the can. For this reason, the student is never interrupted while speaking, even if, they make a mistake. Instead, the teacher will note the mistake and address it as part of the next lesson. The purpose of our language courses is to use a method that has been shown to learn languages in a highly focused and practical manner with tangible results as its main aim.

Our Teachers

All the language teachers at Principal Relocation hold a university degree and have a vast and demonstrable experience in the area of language learning. Upon becoming members of our team of language specialists, they are trained in the communicative method and are closely supported and monitored by our Director of Studies.

In addition to this, they attend regular training courses in order to keep abreast regarding the latest developments concerning the newest language tools and programs in the field of language teaching. All of our teachers are certified mother tongue and work to the highest level of professionalism and work ethics.

Our Courses

Our language courses are divided into the following six levels:

1. Beginner (Approximately 90 hours required for completion)
2. Elementary (Approximately 90 hours required for completion)
3. Pre-.Intermediate (Approximately 90 hours required for completion)
4. Intermediate (Approximately 90 hours required for completion)
5. Upper-Intermediate (Approximately 90 hours required for completion)
6. Advanced (Approximately 90 hours required for completion)

Please note that the hours indicated above is only an estimate of the number of hours required for the average student to complete each level. How quickly a student learns a new language also depends on their own mother-tongue, other languages spoken, context in which the new language will be used as well as a student’s motivation and dedication to learning the new language.

In order to recommend the most appropriate didactic program, a detailed assessment will be carried out before the student’s course begins by our Director of Studies in order to ascertain the individual’s starting level, objectives and any possible challenges. After this step has been completed, the student can opt to follow an individual or group course on an intensive or standard basis.
