The Relocation Associate will provide the customer the information on all documents to gather in order to open an Italian bank account. Driver’s License Conversion (Information Only): The Relocation Associate will carry out the due diligence on the necessary documents requested, provide the customer essential information & guidance on how to convert his/ her Driver’s License. -
The Relocation Associate will provide the customer the information on all documents to gather in order to open an Italian bank account and coordinate the appointment to go to the bank and open the account. The customer will be accompanied from a Local Counselor to the bank visit so that they are fully aware of the type of bank account being opened and also explained the documentation that the bank presents to the customer. -
The Relocation Associate will take care, on behalf of the customer, to cancel all the major utilities such as gas, electricity, water, satellite TV and phone, which includes an ADSL line. IMPORTANT: costs such as government stamps, courier services, registered letters, or any other disbursement incurred during service delivery will be billed separately (not included in the service). -
The Relocation Associate will provide information to the customer in regards to importing a car or motorcycle to Italy, including who must register and when, what paperwork is necessary and where to go to get it all done, and costs involved in the importation. The Relocation Associate will carry out the due diligence on the necessary documents requested, will provide the customer essential information & guidance on how to import a vehicle into Italy. Based on the customer’s availability, a visit to the local authorities/ agencies for the vehicle importation. The application can be placed on behalf of the customer, by proxy with one of Principal’s local counselors (if permitted). -
The Relocation Associate will provide information to the customer in regards to importing a car or motorcycle to Italy, including who must register and when, what paperwork is necessary and where to go to get it all done, and costs involved in the importation. The Relocation Associate will carry out the due diligence on the necessary documents requested, will provide the customer essential information & guidance on how to import a vehicle into Italy. -
The Relocation Associate will carry out the due diligence on the necessary documents requested, provide the customer essential information & guidance and organize, based on the customer’s availability, a visit to the local authorities/ Town Hall to request the Parking Permit application (ZTL permit). The application can be placed on behalf of the customer, by proxy with one of Principal’s local counselors (if permitted). -
The Relocation Associate will carry out the due diligence on the necessary documents requested, will provide the customer essential information & guidance and will organize, based on the customer’s availability, a visit to the local authorities/ Town Hall for the Garbage Tax application. If required and where applicable, through a proxy, the application can be placed on behalf of the customer. -
The Relocation Associate will carry out the due diligence on the necessary documents requested, will provide the customer essential information & guidance and will organize, based on the customer’s availability, a visit to the relevant authorities/ agencies in order to purchase or lease an automobile. -
Even though the customer may have private medical insurance, it is definitely advisable to also register for the Italian National Health Service in order to have a family doctor and to receive reduced prescriptions. The associate will carry out the due diligence on the necessary documents requested, will provide the customer essential information & guidance and will organize, based on the customer’s availability, a visit to the local authorities for the Medical Card application. -
Even though the customer may have private medical insurance, it is definitely advisable to also register for the Italian National Health Service in order to have a family doctor and to receive reduced prescriptions. The associate will carry out the due diligence on the necessary documents requested, will provide the customer essential information & guidance on how to apply for the Medical Card. -
The associate will verify the tax code and will assess if and why a correction is required. If required, the associate will organize based on the expat’s availability a visit to the Fiscal Authorities for the correction of the Tax Code. Where applicable, the associate will submit through a proxy the application for the correction of the Tax Code. -
This is the equivalent of the UK’s National Security Number or the USA’s Social Security Number and is essential for working and living in Italy. The associate will carry out the due diligence on the necessary documents requested, will provide to the customer essential information & guidance and will organize based on the expat’s availability a visit to the Fiscal Authorities for the obtaining of the Tax Code. If required and where applicable, through a proxy, the request of the Tax Code can be obtained on behalf of the customer. -

The associate will carry out the due diligence on the necessary documents requested, will provide the customer essential information & guidance on how to obtain the Tax Code. -
This is an essential part of the relocation process. One of our Local Counselors meets with the customer and the owner of the property to examine the state of the apartment/house and to catalogue all its contents, making notes on the meter readings from that day and documenting any & all existing damages. The property assessment will be signed by the local counsellor, by the tenant and by the landlord. The local counselor will also take pictures of the property as a whole and in detail, including the utility meters. The property assessment will help both the tenant/ customer and the landlord/ owner with the status of the property and with agreeing on the expenses for repairs to be deducted from the security deposit. -
A few weeks (two/three, ideally) before the tenant vacates the property, one of our Local Counselors meets with the customer and the owner of the property to examine the state of the apartment/house. The local counselor will document the damages in order to allow the tenant to make the repairs that he will agree with the landlord, so that the property is returned in perfect condition when he vacates it. The property assessment will be signed by the local counsellor, by the tenant and by the landlord. The local counselor will also take pictures of the property as a whole and in detail. -
This is an essential part of the relocation process. One of our Local Counselors meets with the customer and the owner of the property to examine the state of the apartment/house and to catalogue all its contents, making notes on the meter readings from that day and documenting any & all existing damages. The local counselor will also take pictures of the property as a whole and in detail, including the utility meters. The property assessment will help both the tenant/ customer and the landlord/ owner with the status of the property at the beginning of tenancy to then help with the end of tenancy and return of the security deposit. -
Once the customer has selected the property of his/ her preference, we assist him/ her to negotiate the terms & condition of the lease contract with the landlord (along with the realtor – if present) and request any additional items and/ or action needed in the property. Once the negotiation process is complete, we draft the lease contract and coordinate both the signature by both parties and the initial payments. -
This service would entail providing the customer from 3 to 5 available temporary housing options – the accommodations are most likely to be in a serviced apartment, based on the duration of the customer’s stay. Once the customer has selected the property of his/ her preference, we arrange a visit for the customer to review his/ her favorite options (if applicable), accompanied by a local counsellor. Once the customer chooses the preferred option, we coordinate the negotiation of the terms & conditions of the contract, draft the lease contract and direct its signature in order to coordinate the initial payments. The local counsellor will assist the customer with the check-in inspection (if required). -
This service would entail providing the customer from 3 to 5 available temporary housing options – the accommodations are most likely to be in a serviced apartment, based on the duration of the customer’s stay. Once provided the customer a list of potential options, we coordinate the reservation, the signature of the contract when required, and the initial payments. -
This assistance is a crucial moment in the relocation process, as we concentrate on the customer’s requests and criteria. The Relocation Associate will send the customer a Needs Analysis Form to decipher the needs, requirements and budget. The Associate will submit options to the customer, aiming at a shortlist of properties to be visited. Based on this information a property program will be put together with properties that correspond to information that the customer provided. The Relocation Associate will organize an outing for the customer. During the outing the customer/and his family accompanied by one of our Local Counselors, has/have the chance to visit the properties the relocation associate has organized. -
In order to give the customer an idea as to the different neighborhoods that they can choose from, based on their housing, work and school requirements, we escort them to see several potential neighborhoods to choose from: Accompanied program consists of guiding the customer to living conditions within residential areas, schooling, obtaining goods and services, recreation and leisure opportunities in the destination Itinerary is drawn up on the basis of the assignee’s needs Welcome / Orientation packet Preview of representative communities and housing -
Assign consultant based on expertise and family needs. Conduct a needs assessment with the parent(s) about each child. Provide explanation of international and private schooling. Discuss specific school options available in the new location: state/public, private or international (if state/public schooling is preferred, additional services may be required). Explain application process for identified school options. Arrange appointments where required and permitted. Provide information on nurseries, childcare facilities, nannies, etc. (where required). Follow up call to seek feedback on the family’s visits to the schools. -
Based on the Transferee’s request, the associate will connect with our local partner (Labor Specialist) and will inform & guide on the gathering and obtaining the necessary documents in order to place the request for registering (COLF, gardener, au pair, etc.) into INPS. The registration will be placed online (telematica). A monthly pay-slip can be issued/ organize at an extra cost.
