Introduction

Principal Relocation Company is a company operating in the immigration and relocation sector.

With this document, Principal Relocation, as Controller, intends to provide useful information about the characteristics of the navigation data processing of the website.

This notice is regularly reviewed, in compliance with the most recent regulation and in order to undertake new personal data practices.


What personal data does Principal Relocation collect?

PRC collects the following user data:

  • Personal user data, such as the IP addresses and/or the domain names of the computers
  • Data relating to the use of the website by the Data Subject, through the use of technical cookies, analytical cookies of third-parties (an analytical description of them is provided below)
  • Data provided voluntarily by the Data Subject, with particular reference to the identifying information of the data subject for access to certain services offered by the site (for example the “Contact us” form), for which reference is made to the specific information contained in the related sections of reference.

With regard to the use of cookies, they are tools through which the owner collects and processes some information of the Data Subject. Cookies are small pieces of text, automatically generated during the navigation of the website. Some of these cookies (session cookies) are erased when the user closes the Web browser. Other types of cookies are stores in the user computer, even after the closure of the browser. For which purposes does Principal use the Data Subject’s personal data?

Principal collects and processes personal data in order to:

  • Manage the correct use of the website by the Data Subject
  • Statistically evaluate the use of the website by the Data Subject
  • Avoid any illicit committed by Data Subjects to the detriment of third parties or to the detriment of the company.
  • Comply with European and national legislation, as well as with the provisions of the data protection authority


Which legal basis allows the company to process the Data Subject personal data?

Principal processes user personal data based on explicit consensus, provided by the Data Subject during the navigation.


On which infrastructure and for how long does Principal Relocation retain Data Subject personal data?

The personal data is stored on paper and held on computer (Servers, could- based database, application, etc…). Principal Relocation keeps Data Subjects’ persona data stored as long as needed to meet the purposes for which they were collected and in compliance to the Italian law.


With whom does Principal Relocation share Data Subject’s personal data?

Internal use

Personal data is shared exclusively with Principal’s employees, especially with administrative, communication and marketing services, when it will be necessary in order to provide requested services, limited to essential and useful information.

Principal Relocation trains its employees about the importance of confidentiality and to the importance of the observance of European Data Protection new policy.

Sub-contractors

The company shares personal information with some suppliers who assist it in delivering the vehicle services through the website, with particular reference to the professional who provides support in the management of the portal. if third parties access the data, they will do so in compliance with the current legislation on the protection of data lost and the instructions given by the holder.

We will not disclose user personal information to any other third parties without Data Subject’s permission, unless there are exceptional circumstances (requested by the Law or the Authority).


Is the personal user information transmitted abroad?

Principal Relocation does not transmit personal information of the Data Subject’s outside the European Union.


What are your rights as a data subject and how can you exercise them?

The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) and other countries’ privacy laws provide certain rights for data subjects.

For any processing of your personal data, you can exercise the following rights:

  • Right of access: you have the right to obtain a copy of the personal data that Principal holds and process about you;
  • Right of rectification: you have the right to rectify the record of your personal data maintained by Principal if it is inaccurate;
  • Right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority: you have the right to lodge a complaint with the appropriate data protection authority if you have concerns about how Principal processes your personal data.

You may also exercise the following rights under certain conditions:

  • Right of erasure: you may request that Principal erase your personal data;
  • Right of withdrawing a consent: you have the right to withdraw your consent to a processing for which you have given your prior consent;
  • Right of objection to a processing: you may request that Principal cease processing your personal data;
  • Right of objection to processing of direct marketing purposes: you can request that Principal cease sending you marketing communication at any time;
  • Right of objection to a decision based on automated processing: you may request not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling;
  • Right of restriction of processing: you may request that Principal restricts the processing of your personal data;
  • Right of data portability: you may exercise your right to data portability and receive your data in a structured and machine-readable format, or to have the data transferred in such a format to another data controller.

We undertake to reply within one month. If for some reason we cannot answer to your request, Principal will provide an explanation as to why your request has been rejected.
