| Write a good CV: hilight your work experience

Based on some of the Page Personnel surveys, it is very important to highlight your latest work experience when writing your CV in order to apply for job positions abroad, especially if your latest position was in a large important company and/or in a very demanding role.

It is better to write it in the third person as it is considered more professional. Knowledge of languages should be supported by internationally recognised certificates.
Here are some points that are essential for a good CV:

Custom write it and limit the number of pages
In Southern European countries such as Spain and Portugal, where companies receive a very high number of applications for every job opportunity, it is very important to limit the CV to 2 pages.
Have at least one experience abroad
An international work experience is considered to be of paramount importance
Avoid break periods between jobs
Long break periods between jobs are mostly present in countries with higher employment issues (Southern Europe)
Highlight your personal interests and motivations
This feature is mostly considered valuable in Northern European countries, while it is poorly appreciated in Southern Europe ones
Send your CV from an email address with a first and last name, do not use nick-names
Use a captivating but easy-to-read graphic format
